SAN JOSE, Calif., October, 2002– Silver Creek Fitness & Physical Therapy (SCFPT), a full-service fitness and sports medicine rehabilitation facility geared to accommodate all ages and levels of fitness, today announced it is opening its premier facility in the Evergreen Village Square conveniently located above Lunardi’s grocery store.  SCFPT is an innovative facility that will provide both fitness members and physical therapy patients an opportunity to stay healthy and rehabilitate in an environment that is staffed by medically-trained personnel.  Combining these two services allows members to easily seek the advice of a physical therapist on how to exercise safely and recover from injuries if they occur in their day to day activities.

SCFPT is designed to be a "one-stop shopping" facility for services related to fitness and physical therapy healthcare.  SCFPT will have the most advanced and up-to-date exercise equipment and resources.  Fitness services include a limited membership facility that provides members with state-of-the-art gym equipment and locker rooms. The fitness facility will feature pneumatic resisted equipment, an innovative strength training system that allows members to train more effectively for specific goals. It will also feature top-of-the-line free weights, machine weights, and aerobic machines from well-known vendors such as Life Fitness, Cybex, Hammer Strength and Precor.  Members can also participate in personal and circuit training classes, sports-specific conditioning, and classes for the senior population.  The fitness aspect of the facility will be managed by nationally certified strength and conditioning specialists emphasizing personal care to our members.  

Healthcare services include physical therapy, athletic training, and massage therapy for all types of injuries including pre-and-post surgical, sports, work, and automobile accident related injuries.  Our therapists have experience working with a wide range of patients including Olympic and professional athletes as well as the general and senior population.  Our mission is to provide hands-on, one-on-one physical therapy care to our patients, utilizing a clinically-oriented team approach.  Physical therapists at SCFPT will also offer complimentary musculoskeletal screenings to the public and referral to the appropriate doctor if needed.  Free wellness seminars will be available to local community businesses, churches, clubs, schools, sports teams, etc.  The physical therapy aspect of the facility will be managed by licensed physical therapists with 20+ years of combined experience in the healthcare field.
